Grandma's Easy Cherry Cobbler


  • 1 cup flour                                                                        
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup (4 ounces) butter, melted
  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • Ice cream for serving


Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat 11x7-inch pan or casserole dish with nonstick spray.

In a bowl mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Add milk, vanilla and butter and mix with whisk or mixer; pour into pan. Evenly pour cherry pie filling on top of flour mixture. With a knife swirl flour mixture together with cherries.

Cook f 45 to 55 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
