Roberta Anding is an award-winning teacher, professional sports dietitian and experienced speaker, who has contributed to numerous publications. She is an assistant professor in the Baylor Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Roberta is also sports dietitian for the Houston Astros and has taught at the Tulane Medical Center/Medical School, The University of Houston School of Nursing and Rice University. Rebecca Small and Neva Cochran

When this blog was written, Rebecca Small was a dietetic intern at Texas Woman’s University who completed a nutrition communications rotation with Neva Cochran in November 2011, a nutrition communications consultant in Dallas. Neva was a writer and researcher for Woman’s World Magazine’s Diet Cover Story Department and consults with a variety of food and nutrition organizations.

Meghan Windham

Meghan Windham, M.P.H., R.D., L.D. graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in nutritional science and obtained her Master of Public Health at the University of Texas School of Public Health-Houston. When this blog was published, Meghan worked at Texas A&M Student Health Services where she is passionate about giving back and making an impact among Aggie students through nutrition. She provides education and consults with students on an individual basis to meet their nutritional needs.

Lisa Colbert, RD, LD

Lisa Colbert has worked for the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Nutrition Services Department for 16 years. During that time, she has served in human resources and as the child nutrition education coordinator, and has been the assistant director of child nutrition since 2008. She loves her job in child nutrition and enjoys eating school lunch with the students whenever she can.

Laura Garrett, Ed.D.

At the time of publication, Dr. Laura Garrett is a professor and division director of liberal studies, management sciences and agriculture at Redlands Community College. A certified family life educator with the National Council on Family Relations and a member of Rotary International, she lives on a wheat and cattle farm with her two children.
