  • 2 cups water
  • 4 ounces (1 cup) small elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 ounces shredded American & Cheddar cheese, or American cheese slices
  • ½ cup peas
  • 2 tablespoons cooked, crumbled bacon

Instructions

Bring water to a boil; add macaroni. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook, stirring often, until tender, about 8 minutes. Do not drain. Add milk and heat until almost boiling. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add peas and bacon and heat through. Serves 4.
