With a Bachelor of Science in home economics from Tarleton State University and a Level 5 Certification from the Texas Association for School Nutrition, she worked for school districts including Abilene, Big Spring and Mineral Wells, and for the Texas Department of Agriculture. Jimena is a student ambassador with the National Football League and National Dairy Council’s Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP 60) Program empowering student leaders to promote healthy eating and physical activity. Jimena plays an active role in sharing the benefits of the FUTP 60 Program and inspiring youth to eat healthier, move more and create positive change in their school and community. When she wrote this, Jimena was a junior in high school and living in Houston, TX. She serves as a Youth Council Member for the National FUTP 60 student organization.

Marley is a Registered Dietitian, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She has also worked as a fitness and sports director with the Navy and her father-in-law is a retired dairy farmer.
