Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 

  • ¼ tsp salt 

  • 1 tablespoon sugar 

  • 3 eggs 

  • 1 1/2 cup whole milk 

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 

  • 8 slices challah, brioche, or white bread 

  • butter for frying 

  • Vanilla extract 

  • Cinnamon 

  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs, ½ teaspoon vanilla, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon in shallow dish.
  2. Dip bread slices in the egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.

  3. Buttering the pan first, cook bread slices on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides.  
  4. Place in the oven to keep warm while cooking the remaining slices.
  5. Top with your preferred ingredients and enjoy.
